I write to discover. I research to write. I teach to learn. I write, research, and teach to (hopefully!) engender discovery for my students.
I earned my B.A. in English from Loyola University Chicago and M.A. from Oregon State University in Literature and Cultural Studies. I’m currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of English at Michigan State University. My research interests include American queer prose, queer theory, feminisms, genders, sexualities, and subject formation. Currently I’m writing my dissertation, which travels through AIDS literature of the past to inform feminisms of the present.
